The artist is twofold. It is first a humble patient follower,  inspired by the great Renaissance masters. Still building on their creations and inventions in the pure tradition of craftsmanship. Grinding pigments, cooking varnishes and preparation of the canvas as part of the still life. Quiet and intimate, these images and gestures continuing the story of a centuries old art.

But in the other Grare, the one of water and nature, the hand of the autonomous and bold artist shakes protocols and invents, with greedily colors, a totally new technique. Gouache, watercolor, oil meet on cardboard, paper or canvas and seem to agree on the ground vibrating illusory water games.
